Andrea Nicole Baber is a former teacher at Logos Christian Academy in Springfield, Oregon. She resides in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Baber graduated from Northwest Christian University in May 2014.

On Friday December 15, 2017, Baber was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at her home in Cottage Grove on accusations of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male student.

The teen student told authorities that their relationship started with flirting at school, kissing at the movies and eventually progressed to sexual acts.

He estimated having sex with his teacher once or twice a week at her residence.

He also told deputies that Baber occasionally gave him marijuana and alcohol.

Baber’s husband had recently made a report with Child Protective Services after he caught his wife and the teen in their home, partially unclothed.

Baber’s husband also found topless photos of his wife that had been sent to the teen via text messages.

She was charged with third-­degree rape, third-degree sodomy, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, first-­degree online sexual corruption of a minor and unlawful delivery of mari­juana to a person under 18 years of age.
