Anahita (Ana) Kashefi (Persian: آناهيتا كاشفى), known by her stage name Anahita Skye, **** an Iranian-American pop singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California.

Skye was born to Iranian immigrants in Salt Lake City, Utah, and began playing guitar at age 14, initially inspired by alternative rock acts such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam.

Skye went on to attend California State University, Fullerton, where, in addition to majoring in Psychology, she studied classical guitar and performed in the prestigious Fullerton Guitar Orchestra under the direction of David Grimes.

Skye also earned a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Northridge in 2016.

In addition to writing and performing her own music, Skye has written songs for several pop, indie, and EDM artists including Starkillers, as well as for television programs including the Disney Channel's *Austin and Ally *. Skye also works as a marriage and family therapist in Beverly Hills.

Skye describes her sound as "a blend of sultry rock and melodic pop with an infusion of soulful undertones emanating from her Persian / American roots."

Skye's influences include Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Chris Isaak, and Stevie Nicks.
