Ana earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Florida International University .
She later graduated with a Doctor of law in Property law from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University .
Career
Ana Quincoces spent 20 years as the owner of Rodriguez & Quincoces, P.A.
She retired from law and began pursuing culinary arts in 2013, first working as a chef, sponsor and judge for the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Around that time she also dipped her toe into the word of television, appearing on ABC's The View, ABC's The Chew, The Today Show, CBS's The Couch, The Talk, NY Live, Cast member seasons 2 and 3 on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Miami, Better TV, NBC6, Telemundo, Univision, CNN, CNN-E, HLN, MEGATV, Cox Media Group and other places.
She's been a brand ambassador to products for Unilever, Smithfield, NASCAR, IMUSA, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Hairmax, Neslte, Goya Foods, ShapeLovers, Chef'd and Target. Ana's written three cookbooks: "Cuban Chicks Can Cook: The Indispensable Guide to Basic Cuban Favorites", "Sabor: A Passion for Cuban Cuisine", and "The Versailles Restaurant Cookbook". She has also been a keynote speaker at several events around the US. Ana is the owner and founder of Skinny Latina® brand marinades and sauces which can be found at Target and Whole Foods among other places. [1]
In 2019, Ana participated in The Profit as she wanted to grow and expand her signature line of marinades, Skinny Latina, but needed some help from investors to properly grow her customer base. Fortunately, Marcus Lemonis and Nick Molina agreed to invest in her. Marcus was about to invest up to $125,000 for 25% equity and no less than $75,000 for 15%. Nick decided to invest $75,000 for 15% equity as well.[12][13]
In April 2020, Real Housewives stars started auctioning off gowns to raise funds for healthcare workers who are on the coronavirus frontlines.
Quincoces launched the effort over Instagram, reaching out to her old co-stars and women from other franchises. She said:
Quincoces was waiting for all the dresses to arrive before the auction goes live, but she was aiming for it to happen sometime in April and, after discussing with Bravo bosses, a specific beneficiary or beneficiaries would be named.
