Ana Pinczuk is GM of HPE Pointnext, the IT arm of Hewlett Packard.

Pinczuk fled her native Argentina in 1976 amid a coup d’état.

Her parents are university professors who hold doctorate degrees from Ivy League schools.

The family fled to White Plains, New York, where Pinczuk's parents had lived during their studies. She was 13 at the time and did not speak English. Her father found a job with IBM. ^[1]

Pinczuk attended Cornell University, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. ^[1]

Pinczuk's first job was in factory automation at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

In January 2015, she became senior vice president and general manager of Symantec’s backup and recovery division, part of Veritas, the company’s information management business.
