Ana Kraš is a Serbian furniture designer, illustrator, photographer and model based out of New York. ^[1]

Kraš was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in July of 1984. She graduated from the University of Applied Arts Serbia. After university she spent some time in Milan, and then she was traveling for work to places like Paris, Berlin, and Italy. Kraš later relocated to the Lower East Side in Manhattan. ^[5]

Aside from her own label, Kraš has designed for home-wear brands in New York City such as Matter Made and Hay. She also overlooks the work of her colleague and friend Maryam Nassir Zadeh and has designed bikinis for ACK. ^[4] Kraš now works out of her apartment in Chinatown.

In 2011, Kraš was sent to Los Angeles, California by a European magazine to photograph the apartment of Venezuelan artist Devendra Banhart. Within the first few minutes of their meeting, he asked her to marry him. In an interview with Pitchfork Banhart claims she was “really pissed off.” But she stayed, and the two began dating. They were featured in the Fall/Winter 2012 campaign for the clothing brand The Kooples. The engagement broke off sometime in 2014. Kraš is now dating Dev Hynes, lead singer of Blood Orange. ^[4]
