Amy Yu is a sales and trading executive lives out of Hong Kong. Yu is now the Head of Institutional Sales at BitMEX, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange trading platform. She previously worked in the Synthetic/ Delta One Sales department at JP Morgan which sells financial derivatives. ^[1]

Amy Yu is originally from Houston, Texas. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. ^[1]

Amy Yu began her career as an Analyst in the Equity Capital Markets department at UBS from 2006-2008 in Hong Kong. From 2009-2012 she was an Equity Sales Trader at Nomura in Hong Kong. ^[1]

From 2012-2018 Yu worked in the Synthetic/ Delta One Sales department at JP Morgan in Hong Kong which sells financial derivatives. In May 2018 she joined BitMEX, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange trading platform based in Hong Kong. In August 2018, BitMEX confirmed that Yu was hired as their Head of Institutional Sales. ^[1]

Amy Yu enjoys traveling and has visited countries including but not limited to Russia, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, and India. She is fluent in five languages, English, Russian, Mandarin, Portugese, and Arabic.
