Amy Jayne Everett also known as Dolly was an Australian teenager known for campaigning for Akubra.
Personal Life
Everett was the daughter of Tick Everett. She starred in a Akubra ad campaign when she was eight years old.
Her friends and family remember Everett as being caring for animals, small children, and other children at boarding school who were less fortunate than herself.
The family nicknamed her Dolly because her mother Kate thought she resembled a china doll.
Death
Tributes
On Friday, January 12, 2018 over a hundred people attended her memorial service.
Her family also started a trust called "Dolly's Dream" to raise awareness of bullying, depression, anxiety, and youth suicide.
