Amir Riep is a former American football player from Cincinnati who played as a safety for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. ^{[1] [12]}

In February 2020, Riep along with former teammate, Jahsen Wint, were each indicted on two counts of rape and one count of kidnapping. ^{[12] [13]}

Amir Riep graduated from Colerain High School. He went on to play football at Ohio State University. ^[1]

Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint had pleaded not guilty to charges that they held a woman against her will and raped her in February 2020.

The woman told police that on February 4, 20/20, she started having consensual sex with Riep before Wint came into the room and both forced her into sexual intercourse. After several minutes, they stopped and Riep told the woman that she needed to say what happened was consensual on a video recording while laughing at her. Riep then told the woman she needed to shower before he drove her back to her home.^{[12] [13]}

As a recruit, 247Sports.com ranked him 435th nationally, 34th as a cornerback, and the 21st best football prospect in OH for the class of 2017. They also gave him a composite score of 0.9243. ^[1]
