Amie Lynn (Cosplayer)

Amie Lynn aka Misshabit started cosplay right after finishing high school. She became great friends with a talented illustrator and regular con attendee at the University of Arizona who urged Amie Lynn to go to an anime expo. She was also the one who introduced her to the world of cosplay[1]
Cosplay
Weirdest thing that happened to her at a convention

A big thing of mine is the goofy nose-picking picture.
I don't know when it started, and I don't know why I kept doing it, but it became a trend and it became a highly requested thing among costumes.
So it's not super-weird, but it's really nice and it's sort of special that when I go to conventions, there's always a handful of people that come by and ask to take a nose-picking selfie with me.
So I always end up picking my nose with random strangers.
Do it for the selfie I guess.
Actually, I picked someone's nose once.
And it wasn't even their request!
It was mine!
He was like, "Can we do a nose-picking selfie?" and I was like "Yeah!
I'll pick your nose!" And I don't know if I could ever find that photograph, but I remember seeing it and it was like, "Dude, that guy let me pick his nose! That is a lot of trust."
Most embarrassing cosplay malfunction
Oh my gosh, have I ever.
My costumes are not the kind of costumes that I'm gonna keep forever.
They're more like I can wear them to a couple conventions and then I can choose to repair them or I can choose to retire them because they have served their purpose well.
They have fought on the battlefield. With that being said, I've had a ton of malfunctions. I don't know if it's really embarrassing, I don't know, maybe now I'm jaded from conventions and cosplay, but I don't get embarrassed much. But I'm always having a cosplay malfunction. The worst part is when you think you're really confident by yourself, and then you see photos after and you're like "Oh my god, my wig looked like that? Why did nobody tell me?" Or like "Holy crap! My eyelash is falling off and its on my cheek and it was just on my cheek all day."
