Amber Lia-Kloppel
Amber Lia-Kloppel
Art
Amber Lia-Kloppel’s work is a meditation on feminine daily rituals.
It is as if the viewer interrupts the subject, catching them by surprise, mid-action.
Reminiscent of Dutch Genre painting, the tableaux she creates are modern subjects in an interior world.[1] Her major artistic influences range from Johannes Vermeer to Edward Hopper.[3]
Her work has been shown primarily in New York, Philadelphia and San Juan, Puerto Rico.[3]
