On Friday January 4, 2019, Hall and her 12-year-old sister were taken into custody after deputies responded to the family’s mobile home, where Erica Hall, was found stabbed multiple times and shot once in the chest with a handgun. ^[0]

Amariyona Hall was charged as an adult with murder . Her 12-year-old sister, whose name won't be released, is also in custody in youth court and is being held at the Adams County Detention Center. ^[1]

Pike County deputies were called to the scene at about 11:30 p.m. local time, where they discovered Erica Hall lying in the front yard.

Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate her, but was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. ^[0]
