Amanda Starrantino is an Emmy nominated journalist based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is an evening anchor at RTV6. [1]
Education
Starrantino is a graduate from Chapman University where she studied televison and broadcast journalism, earning her degree in under three years.
While at Chapman, she was active in Chapman News, founded and served as president for the Chapman Figure Skating Team, and danced on the Chapman Cheerleading Team.
Before graduating, she won the Orange County Press Club Best College Journalist Award and Scholarship in 2011 & 2012.
Career
She has interned at KABC3 in Los Angeles, worked in the entertainment department at KTLA in Los Angeles, wrote for the Orange County Register, and traveled across the country to intern with WJLA.
Starrantion also volunteers at Riley Hospital for Children working with Child Life Services on a weekly basis.
