Amanda Giese (born January 26, 1983) is an animal rescuer best known as one of the stars of the Animal Planet docuseries Amanda To The Rescue. Amanda Giese is the founder of the Panda Paws Rescue organization.^[1]

Amanda Giese has had a wide array of jobs, including phlebotomist, Nightclub promotions coordinator and a go-go dancer.^[2]

Amanda Giese used to work as a vet technician in surgery and thought that a lot of the animals weren’t getting the quality of care they deserved. They were not given pain medications or surgery immediately, so she started taking them from the animal clinic, taking them home and giving them the care they needed.^[2]

Currently, she is the founder of Panda Paws Rescue in Washington State. ^[1]

In the show Amanda Giese To The Rescue, Amanda Giese launches large-scale rescue missions across the country to save dozens of animals with major medical or special needs from being euthanized.^[2]

As of December 2019, Amanda Giese has more than 64,000 followers on her amanda_giese Instagram account. She posts her selfies, family photos, photos with friends, as well as work and travel photos.^[4]

Amanda's very first rescue took place when she was 10 years old.

It was a kitten that she eventually hand-raised and bottle-fed.

The cat stayed with her until her 20s, until after her first child was born.^[2]

Giese has children named Jade and Beast.^[1]
