Amanda Caye Dreier is a former English teacher at Ankeny High School. Dreier is an alumna of Iowa State University.

Dreier is married to Alex Dreier.

She resides in Ankeny, Iowa which is located near Des Moines, Iowa.

On July 1, 2016 Dreier was arrested on a charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee.

Dreier had an ongoing sexual relationship with an 18 year old male student who graduated from Ankeny High School in the spring.

Dreier resigned on June 13, 2016. Prior to resigning, police found her with the student inside a parked vehicle near the Prairie Ridge Sports Complex.

Iowa state law prohibits relationships by employees with students until 30 days following the student's graduation.
