Alyssa Deitsch attended Arizona State University and studied at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She graduated in 2011 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. [1]
Career
Alyssa Deitsch worked as an intern for KNTV-NBC Bay Area in San Francisco and KTVK- 3TV in Phoenix, Arizona. One of the most signifigant stories she covered was reporting on drug tunnels in Nogales, Arizona and earned a Society of Professional Journalists award for her work. In August 2011, she became a Multimedia Journalist and Graphic Artist for the PBS Affiliate in Phoenix and ran the Chyron during Cronkite NewsWatch. Toward the end of the same year, Alyssa moved to Casper, Wyoming to become a Morning Anchor/Producer/Reporter for KCWY. She later joined GOCOM Media of Northern California in 2014 and was based in Chico, California. In 2016, Alyssa moved to Las Vegas and serves in her current position of Anchor/Reporter for KVVU Fox 5. [1]
