Cali emcee Alshawn Martin, who now claims to have backing from Hip Hop/global music legend Wyclef Jean, was once a member of the infamous Tr3yway rap collective but has now publicly disassociated himself from the rest of his former affiliates.
Martin also managed to get off a shot in the form of a diss track aimed at the incarcerated Tr3yway manager.
He mentioned in “Call Fom Shotti” that he doesn’t have problems with Tek, who Martin says fired Jordan because of his Benedict Arnold ways.
Alshawn used to go by the name of Dukes that’s why he started off with the deed to the number to see and that’s stuff determined to conquer everything, he started off with the name Deuce as he kind of like get older and went through more things in life he then decided to change it into his name and that was how Alshawn Martin came to being. He didn’t want no stage name because his story is real and he coming to the game was real also. His father was from Denver Lane while he’s from Hoover. Well his mother was from Hoover while his father was from Denver Lane, his father was so popular in LA, so far you’re from LA. He said the story beside him claiming Hoover is because he’s a mummy’s boy, he spent most of his childhood with his mother while his father was in prison for like 18 years
He grew up 81st between Hoover and fig sandy.
When he grew up, he wasn’t able to stay inside the community because he was in group homes and foster homes.
He was moved around, Long Beach, Camptonville, California, all through LA, he wasn’t allowed to stay in one spot. He went to Manchester Elementary school, went to Bret Harte Union High School for a year, but couldn’t stay because he was being moved around. He has 2 siblings; a little brother (Deontay, same mother) and a sister he never met (same father). Martin was in county jail for 3 years, in a process of trying to stay alive, he had to take a case for somebody (not disclosed) so he went to jail for 3 years.
Diss with 6ix9ine and Shotti
Alshawn Martin is letting the world know he is no longer repping the Tr3yway crew.
On Saturday afternoon, the South Central rapper released a hard-hitting diss track titled "Call From Shotti," in which he accuses the Tr3yway boss of being a hater, a phony, and a bag-stopper.
"How you claimin' you a Blood and want the world to respect you?/When you came to L.A. and pay me to protect you," Alshwan spits.
"[...] Pay what you owe me, motherfka/It's gonna take more than callin' your lawyer, motherf ka/Look at where you at for being disloyal, motherfka/In a cell, cold as hell, bendin' over, motherf ka."
Shotti and Teka$hi69 (6ix9ine) are among a group of suspected Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members, who were arrested back in November on federal racketeering charges. Alshawn accused Shotti of trying to hinder his career by removing his music from major streaming platforms. The rapper made the allegations on social media this week when he confirmed he had cut ties with Tr3yway Entertainment and started his own imprint called Gubano. Alshawn also announced he was selling his iced-out Tr3yway necklace to the highest bidder.
