Alpha Pro Tech was founded in 1989 in Delaware, but didn't assume the moniker they have now until 1994. Their products are sold through "Alpha Pro Tech" as well as private labels. In addition to protective apparel, they also sell infection control products and construction weatherization building products. [1]

Products
Alpha Pro Tech's products includes a complete protective apparel line with shoe covers, coveralls, bouffant caps, gowns, frocks and lab coats. They also have infection control products such as a full line of face masks and eye shields, and building products like house wrap and synthetic roof underlayment. [1]
Coronavirus
In February of 2020, Alpha Pro Tech began ramping up production for their N-95 face mask amidst concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus. Their stock surged over 96% in January and on February 21st in response to news about the virus it show up another 50%. By the third week of February the price was soaring after a 230% climb. [2]
Trading volume went from 20,000 shares a day before mid-January, to 24 million in late February.
