Her brother Luke Carroll announced she had been found safe early January 8, 2017 in a Facebook post update.

Ally was last seen at the British Lion Pub on Main Street in Frisco, Texas, after the JMU vs Youngstown State National Championship Game game this afternoon. She is thought to have left with a man in his 40s, around 6'0 ft, with dark hair, according to Ally's father, Keith Carroll.

Ally was last seen wearing a purple crew neck sweatshirt and a beige beanie. She is 5'9 with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ally Carroll's brother Luke posted to Facebook Saturday night saying Ally had been separated from her friends and not heard from for over six hours. He had tried to find Ally by using the Find My iPhone service to try and track her but it did not work, the phone could be dead or lost.

Many JMU students have spread the word on social media and shared pictures of Ally, and though employees currently at the pub where she was reportedly last seen couldn't confirm whether the student had been present or not; if she had arrived, it would've been before 5 p.m., which is when the employees' shift began.

According to Frisco Police Department Public Information Officer Ryan Chandler, a police report regarding the incident has been filed.
