Alissa Violet & Jake Paul
Alissa Violet and Jake Paul dated from June 2014 to June 2017. The couple was nicknamed 'Jalissa,' a term that combined their first names.
The couple met in 2014, the day before she graduated high school.
She was working at Panera Bread in her hometown of Brunswick, Ohio; at the time, she wanted to be an actress/model.
The day before she graduated high school, she was at the mall shopping for a dress to wear at her commencement.
Suddenly, she discovered a large group of girls running around area.
She asked some of them what was going on, and they told her that Jake Paul and his brother Logan just got kicked out of the mall and they are going to do a meet-and-greet with their fans somewhere else.
She claims that, after dropping off a few girls who wanted to meet him, Jake inserted his phone number in her phone so she could text him later.
The two eventually became really good friends.
Even though Jake moved to L.A. with Logan, they still kept in touch.
6 months later, he suggested to her to fly to L.A. for 2 weeks.
She said yes, after he told her that he could introduce her to some of his connections--some of whom worked for modeling agencies.
During that time span, she met with 5 modeling agencies; 4 offered her contracts after their first meeting with her.
In the summer of 2015, she moved to L.A., and they started dating each other on and off.
At this point, they were never labeled that they were in a relationship.
However, in November 2015, she moved into his place and she believed they were "together, but without a title."
While living with him, Jake would continuously bring girls over, kick her out of the bedroom they shared, and then hook up with Alissa days later.
According to Alissa, he was stringing her along, because he would continue this cycle constantly.
In February 2017, she eventually hooked up with someone other than Jake.
Jake found out about this and perceived that she cheated on him.
This resulted in Jake kicking Alissa out of the house on February 21, 2017.
In addition, she lost all her friends from Team 10; according to Alissa, they all took Jake's side because they are all under contract with him.
Fellow social media personality Chantel Jeffries offered her apartment until she could find a new place.
From March to June 2017, Alissa tried talking to Jake.
However, he blocked her on all his modes of contact.
Jake eventually released a diss track directed towards Alissa, which she considered an act of bullying.
In retaliation, she released a song of her own, collaborating with RiceGum.
