Alicia DiMichele is a reality television star and fashionista. She was in Season 4 of Mob Wives.
She is the Ex-wife of alleged Colombo gangster Edward "The Tall Guy" Garofalo (whose father was allegedly killed by Sammy "The Bull" Gravano).
Early Life
Alicia DiMichele was born in Pennsylvania to a traditional, close-knit, working Italian family. [1] [3] She is a very close relationship with her brother whom she sees at least 3 to 5 times a week. [3]
Career
Before Fame
During her young adult life, she waited tables and worked as an executive assistant.
After getting married at an early age to Edward Garofalo (whose father was allegedly killed by Sammy "The Bull" Gravano), she met some of his friends who were part of the inner circle of the Mafia. She gradually developed connections with them and became close friends.
Eventually, she started her own trucking business with Garofalo; Alicia ran the business end of the company.
The Addiction Boutique
DiMichele runs two boutiques with her brother called The Addiction Boutique.
Mob Wives: New Blood
In 2013, Alicia became a cast member of Mob Wives: New Blood , a show that follows a group of women after their family members were arrested and imprisoned for crimes that are allegedly connected to the Mafia. [3] She appeared on the show for one season (Season 4).
Alicia's husband is a long-time friend of fellow Mob Wives cast members Renee Graziano and Angela Raiola. She reached out to them to get some guidance on how to deal with her new situation. [3]
She was making $8,000 per episode.
She allegedly resigned after one season for controversial reasons involving the government.
Arrest
The allegations in questions pertain to dates between June 2003 and June 2005.
She plead guilty and was sentenced to four years of probation.
Personal Life
On September 22, 2018, Alicia married her longtime boyfriend, restaurateur Rob LaScala.
The wedding was officiated former Gov. Edward Rendell.[34]
About 100 friends and family were on hand to watch the intimate ceremony.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her sons, Anthony, Rocco and Carlo, where, at the alter, LaScala and his son, Lorenzo, were waiting.
The bride wore an off-the-rack white gown, and her husband and sons wore custom suits by EDGE Tailoring in Marlton, New Jersey.[34]
Her father died when she was 16 years old.
She now hosts Sunday Funday events ever week at her house in his memory.
Because he was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams, the entire family comes over to watch sports and eat pasta.
