Ali Daqneesh was a 10 year old from Aleppo. He was the brother of Omran Daqneesh.

On August 17, 2016, Ali was wounded along with his brother Omran Daqneesh and the rest of the family when an airstrike devastated their apartment building. ^[0]

The brothers were playing in the street outside when Russian or Syrian warplanes leveled their apartment building. ^[0]

Omran Daqneesh became a global symbol after an image of him being rescued went viral on social media. ^[0]

On August 20, 2016 Ali died from his injuries.
