Alexandra Carmen Mondalek is a freelance fashion and lifestyle journalist based in New York.

A native of Michigan, Mondalek graduated from Sterling Heights High School in 2011 and went on to attend the University of Michigan, where she wrote for campus newspaper The Michigan Daily and from which she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Political Economy.

While enrolled at Michigan, Mondalek undertook internships at Business Insider, Fortune, and Bloomberg.

Following her graduation from college, Mondalek joined the staff of Money, where she worked as a digital producer and reporter until the end of 2016.

Thereafter, Mondalek joined Yahoo, where she worked as a fashion features reporter until early 2018.
