Early Life & Education
In 2011, Rosen graduated with Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Villanova University. In 2014, he earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Career
Early Beginnings
Before attaining his law degree, Alex Rosen gained experience at several sports organizations.
In the summer of 2009, he interned for Sports Illustrated's event marketing team. In 2010, he interned for the NFL's security team.
In 2012, while he was at Harvard Law, Rosen served as a Law Clerk for the MLB.
Proskauer Rose
In November 2014, Rosen became a Sports Law Associate for Proskauer Rose. As part of his practice as a business and legal advisor, Alex worked several industry-shaping matters, including the NHL's expansion to Las Vegas, Los Angeles' efforts to host the 2016 Summer Olympics, and NASCAR's new charter agreement.
Major League Baseball (MLB)
In February 2017, Alex Rosen became a Counsel for the MLB. His claim to fame since rejoining the organization is facilitating Bruce Sherman's and Derek Jeter's $1.2 billion purchase of the Miami Marlins.
