Alex Reimer is an American Radio host of Kirk & Callahan in the morning who has been ousted by the public and the media for calling Tom Brady's five year-old daughter at the time, an “annoying little pissant", while live on the air.

Biography

Reimer was born and raised in the state of Massachusetts. He had most of his upbringing in the city of Natick. One of the earliest activities he did as a kid was play baseball, which he would continue to play throughout high school.

When he was 12 years old, he was on The Tonight Show and got into a fight with Larry the Cable Guy about steroid use in game of baseball. Also around the age of 12 years old, he was interviewed by Boston Globe who wanted to ask and find out how he was able to build a large following among all of the AOL Sports bloggers. He hadn't even graduated middle school at the time. His response was that he wanted people to know that a kid could hold his own in a debate against adults. Since a kid, he's always been about having his voice heard.

Education

After high school, Reimer attended and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast journalism. He was Cum laude.

Career

Since he was a kid, Reimer aspired to become a reporter or a journalist who covers sports in the city of Boston.

He has since written for Boston Magazine, Forbes, SB Nation, Boston Herald, and BostInno.

Reimer has published over 600 episodes of his Red Sox podcast, “Without a Curse” Each episode is 30-45 minutes in length, and features analysis of the latest news surrounding the Red Sox and Major League Baseball.

Alex has been profiled in The Boston Globe, and been a guest on “The Today Show” and “The Tonight Show” for his work on the show.

Reimer worked on the morning show with Kirk & Callahan on the WEEI Sports Radio Network. He has been suspended indefinitely.

Vivian -Tom Brady's Daughter

On Thursday, January 25th, 2018, while live on the radio program, Kirk & Callahan, Reimer began discussing the first installment of the Facebook Watch documentary called, "Tom vs. Time".

During which he called Brady's daughter, Vivian, an “annoying little pissant".

The comments have led to internet users lashing out against Reimer and his comments.

Entercom has suspended Reimer indefinitely from participating in any broadcasting activities related to WEEI. He was also sent home from Minnesota, where the Patriots will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl 2018.

Tom Brady Reaction

On Monday, January 29th, 2018, Brady spoke on the show as part of his weekly conversations during the NFL season and responded to the comments Reimer made about his daughter.

He said the following:

"'It was very disappointing to hear that.

My daughter or any child certainly does not deserve that...

I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect.

I've always tried and come on and do a good job for you guys.

It's very disappointing when you hear [the comments about my daughter], certainly.

My daughter, or any child, certainly don't deserve that.

I really don't have much to say this morning.

Maybe I'll speak with you guys some other time."

Reimer has not offered a response or apology of his own.

Personal life

Reimer lives in the suburb of Brookline in Boston. He is fond of flag football and is an openly gay news caster who supports many causes related to LGBT.
