Comic Books
Graham also writes, illustrates, and self-publishes various comics, including a coloring book of her paintings, titled Cosmic Be-ing Coloring Book.[86]
In spring of 2017 Alex self-published Thems, a black and white comic featuring three creatures on a metaphysical journey.[86]
She has released a few issues of Cosmic Be-Ing. The first issue features the story The Man Who Changed His Mind. The tale is about a depressed guy looking for meaning who stumbles upon "the ETHEREAL BEING." The issue was made available for free on her official website.[87]
The second issue of Cosmic Be-Ing was released in spring of 2016 and introduced a second storyline titled Angloid, which Alex describes as,[141]
"the author's semi-autobiographical tale of a sexually ambiguous, self-loathing artist searching for purpose and validation on the streets of Colfax Avenue."
In March of 2018 Vice published Alex's comic Baby Clowns in a Castle, a heartwarming story of a gaggle of clowns that are concerned one of their own is doing too many hard drugs.[88]
Angloid, the short comic stories introduced in Cosmic Be-Ing #2 was eventually kickstarted then published by Kilgore Books in Denver. The book included all the Angloid stories that spanned over the six issues of Cosmic Be-Ing. Fantagraphics Bookstore also carried the collection.[86]
