Driving Under the Influence
On Sunday, February 4, 2018, Gonsales was taken into custody after fatally striking Edwin Jackson and 54-year-old Jeffrey Monroe along Interstate 70. The two victims were standing near a stopped vehicle when Gonsales' black Ford F-150 pickup truck drove onto the emergency shoulder and struck them both just before 4:00 a.m. local time.
Gonsales tried to flee the scene on foot, but was quickly captured.
Authorities stated he was intoxicated and was driving without a license. He was transported to the Marion County Jail.
His Toxicology reports are pending as he is currently suspected of being responsible for the deaths of two people. His Blood alcohol content (BAC) at the time of the accidente was at least.15% according to police.
Gonsales allegeldy struck the vehicle on Sunday, February 4th of 2018 and proceeded to flee on foot.
He was deported from the United States of America twice: 'A twice-deported illegal immigrant is suspected of killing 2 Hoosiers, including Colts LB Edwin Jackson". He had gained re-entry into the United States of America under the Pseudonym Alex Cabrera Gonsales.
