Aletha Meyer Pinnow

Aletha Meyer Pinnow was a special education teacher in Duluth, Minnesota who committed suicide on February 20th 2016.

[1] On that night Aletha taped identical notes to her front and back door saying:

" Eleni, if you’re the first one here don’t go in the basement.

Just call 911.

I don’t want you to see me like this.

I love you!

Love, Aletha.”

June 4, in the Church of the Good Shepherd in Oswego, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to endow a scholarship in Aletha's name at NIU.
