On Tuesday May 7, 2019, McKinney and Devon Erickson were arrested inside STEM School Highlands Ranch after they allegedly shot and killed Kendrick Castillo, and injured eight others. [undefined]
McKinney was held without bond and waived the reading of formal charges during her initial court appearance on May 8, 2019.
Neither suspect is of legal age to own or purchase a handgun.
