Alanna Arrington is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from middle school in June 2015. She started modelling in high school. Mother Model Management was hiring in Iowa and Alanna along with her friends auditioned and ended up getting hired. She signed with the Next model management ^[1] and walked New York Fashion Week three times at the age of seventeen. ^[-1] She was scouted by Jeff and Mary Clarke, who also scouted Grace Hartzel and Karlie Kloss. ^[3]

Alanna was an athlete before becoming a model and was good at playing sports, including soccer, basketball, softball and track.
