Alan November is an education technologist.
He lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
Education
November holds a Masters in Education from Harvard University, Class of 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Class of 1974, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Career
November began his career as an oceanography teacher and dorm counsellor at an island reform school for boys in Boston Harbor.
November has also served as director of an alternative high school, computer coordinator, technology consultant and university lecturer.
While Alan was a computer science teacher in Lexington, MA, he was probably the first teacher in the world to have a student project on line in 1984, a database for the handicapped.
November has delivered keynotes and workshops in all fifty states, across Canada and throughout the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Central America.
He was co-founder of the Stanford Institute for Educational Leadership Through Technology.
