Anderson was born on 15th November 1994 in Chicago, Illinois. She went to the De La Salle High School, and after graduation, she joined the University of Illinois.^[8]

Anderson first publicly Affirmed that she was dating Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls in November 2016. She is frequently seen courtside at games. After dating for a couple of years, the couple got married in secret in February 2018.^[8][9]

In November 2018, Rose surprised Alaina with a Bentley on her 24th birthday.
