Akshay Kamal (born September 18. 1995 ) is an Indian Actor and TV Show Host who predominantly works in Tamil Films and TV Industry. He is best known for Television (TV) series Raja Rani (TV series) and Rettai Roja (2019). ^[1]

Akshay was born and brought up in Chinmaya Nagar, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed her schooling fromMCC Campus Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He is a graduate of Anna University, Chennai, where he obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.^[2]

Akshay started his career with acting in short films He made his acting debut in the Tamil short film 'Kadhale Un Kaladiyil'^[3] He acted with Tamil actress Melina and it is directed by Mohammed Azarudeen for One Minute Production. He has appeared in many popular short films like Love Soltiya, Compass and Atharkku Thaga. He soon made debut in the Tamil TV industry and rose to fame playing supporting character of 'Harish' in the TV series Raja Rani (2017) which was aired on Star Vijay. He also appeared in Rettai Roja TV series there after. He acted with popular actors like Alya Manasa, Sridevi, Shabnam and Tamil Selvi.^[2]
