Aiden Zhane

Aiden Zhane (born July 16, 1990) is the stage name of Devin Lewis, a drag performer and one of the Season 12 contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race.^[1]

Early Life

Zhane was born on July 16, 1980 in Howell, Michigan. The Georgia native was raised without a single gay bar in town.^[2]

Career

He chose his name because he wanted something that felt very in line with his aesthetic.

It also represents A to Z, both ends of the spectrum.

He filmed his entire Drag Race Audition tape from inside his bedroom. . Zhane says

“It’s been a process of doing whatever the f— I want, because there’s been nobody there to tell me it isn’t right,”^[2]

“When I perform, I’m not a dancer, I love expression, and I like to emote.”.

Relationship

Zhane dated Dragula season 3 drag queen contestant St. Lucia, for five years.

“He got into it for me.
We both shared the dream of making something of ourselves and getting on a show….
Everybody says it’s weird like it should be flipped — she’s prettier, so she should be on Drag Race, and should be on Dragula!”^[2]
