Ahmed Mohamed is a 14 year old who moved to Qatar from Dallas and then back again after he brought clock assembly he bought from ebay ^[1]to school and it was mistaken by school officials for a fake bomb.

^[3]He later got sympathy for his "wrongful" detainment from Mark Zuckerberg and Barack Obama.

In October 2015, after meeting with US president Barack Obama at The White House astronomy event, Ahmed Mohamed announched that he would be leaving his home state of Texas and the USA to study in Qatar ^[0]on a full scholarship to the Qatar Foundation for Science and Technology ^[0]in the hopes of becoming a self scientist.

In June 2016 his intent to return to Texas was annoinced.

He was said to be homesick.
