Ahmed Amaar is a Division 1 Track and field athlete and a member of the Everipedia founding team. graduating from Redlands High School in 2016, Ahmed currently attends Lipscomb University. Although he originally hails from Libya, Ahmed was born in Burnaby, Canada on December 24th, 1997. When he was three years old, Ahmed and his family moved to Redlands, California.
Amaar is primarily known for his sprinting talent.
Currently ranked as one of the fastest runners in Libya, and holds the unofficial national record in the 100 meter [10], and is attempting to break the 200-meter national records.
His 100m best is 10.55 and his 200 best is 21.41.
[9] On February 25th, 2016, Amaar was named as one of the top 16 Track and Field boys to watch for the 2016 season.

In mid-March 2016, Amaar was selected by the Libya n Athletics Federation to represent Libya at the Arab and World Junior Championships, held in Algeria and Poland. However, due to school commitments, Amaar was unable to compete in Algeria; Instead, he competed at the Medditerrean Championships in Tunisia on June 4-6.
On April 11th, 2016, Amaar committed to run Track and Field at Lipscomb University, a private division 1 college in Nashville, Tennessee, his major is International Business. [2]
In Early September, Ahmed began working with Free Intelligent Conversation and is currently the Nashville City lead.
In May 2017, Ahmed placed 3rd in the 100m dash and 2nd in the 200m dash at the Atlantic Sun Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. [5]
