Personal Life
Herold held the highest leadership position on the Regina Pat Canadians' roster in 2017.
Herold spent the past two seasons with the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League’s Pat Canadians.
He helped the team win the 2016-17 league title before assuming the captaincy for 2017-18.
Before joining the Pat Canadians, Herold spent two seasons with the bantam AA Prairie Storm, a team which draws its players from Balgonie, Pilot Butte, White City, Emerald Park and surrounding area.
Death
On Friday April 6, 2018, Herold and fourteen other people were killed as a bus carrying the junior hockey team crashed with a truck in Saskatchewan. [undefined] [undefined] The hockey team was heading for a playoff game against the Nipawin Hawks. [undefined]
