Adam Guild (born October 1, 1999) is a technology entrepreneur, self-made millionaire, and growth hacker. He is the founder and CEO of Placepull, a marketing technology company that help restaurants get new customers.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Guild is a native Southern Californian. He was born and raised in the West Hollywood neighborhood and currently resides in Beverly Hills.
During his childhood, Guild was an avid reader and technologist. He built his first successful technology project at the age of 13 years old, which eventually reached over 3,000,000 users and a team of 50 people globally. It was eventually acquired after devolving into a commercialization agreement with Microsoft.
Then, Guild worked briefly in quantitative finance, building algorithms to anticipate and profit from financial trends in the cryptocurrency market. He quickly left that behind, though, citing loneliness. His early projects were held as assets under his holding company, Pristine Technologies LLC, before moving to a more scalable structure.
Next, Guild worked in mobile gaming as a publisher, achieving impressive feats like cost-per-installs of under 23¢ each at scale. His impressive mobile marketing achievements quickly attracted the attention of industry incumbents and his nascent company, Best Instant Fun, had its assets promptly acquired.
As of December 2017, Guild has been building Placepull, an innovative marketing technology company for restaurants. On average, they increase annual revenue by over $650,000 per restaurant location and have helped several top brands in the restaurant industry prosper.
Guild has had an unconventional educational trajectory. His primary source of education is learning through books and he graduated high school 2.5 years early to scale his first company to over 50 people. To supplement his reading, Guild began taking courses from HBX – Harvard Business School at 17 years old, where he holds the record for being the youngest ever in that program. He earned Honors distinctions in each applicable course from Harvard Business School and often commends his takeaways from the program as formative in his understanding of business.
