Abby Blumer is an American Chief communications officer at Block.one. She was also the sole marketing and communications employee before growing it to a multi-function, multi-location team. ^[1][2]

She attended University of Northern Iowa in 2006 and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching.^[4][5]

After her graduation she worked as a Secondary English Teacher for two years and seven months at Noble Network of Charter Schools which is a nonprofit organization that runs 17 charter public high schools with one middle school in the city of Chicago.^[6]

In May 2017, she worked as the Marketing and Administrations Manager in Block.one before she got promoted as the Vice President, Marketing and Communications.

Block.one is a software publisher specializing in high performance Blockchain technologies. Block.one is led by CEO, Brendan Blumer, and CTO, Daniel Larimer.

She soon became the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for a period of six months before become the Chief communications officer.

As a Chief Communications Officer she leads Block.one’s global marketing and communications activities, including internal and external communications, events, branding, and marketing.

She worked in marketing and operations for a Hong Kong-based software developer specializing in global real estate solutions.

She previously lived in Chicago as a secondary school English teacher before moving out to Hong Kong. She is also very skilled at event management, Community development and organization development.
