Abbott Garn was a 15-year-old student at Columbus East High School. He was originally from Columbus, Indiana.
Life and Athletics
An athlete, Garn was a part of his high school's sports teams.
He was listed as a cornerback and wide receiver for the football team as well as a member of the baseball team.
In addition, Garn was an honor student.
He is remembered for being an intelligent individual who was always willing to help his friends.
Death
On February 18th around 9:30 pm, Garn was attempting to re-enter the SUV he was in and was subsequently struck by it.
The incident happened at 2500 block of Franklin Street.
Garn was transported to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
