Aaron Voisine is a blockchain Technology entrepreneur. He is best known for his role as President and Founder of the decentralized financial institution Bread formerly known as Breadwallet. He is also an Advisor to WAX (Worldwide Asset eXchange), a decentralized virtual goods trading platform.
Career
Aaron Voisine co-founded the decentralized financial institution mobile app, Bread formerly known as Breadwallet in 2013 with Adam Traidman. Aaron developed and designed the company's first product the Breadwallet bitcoin wallet app, which is the most downloaded bitcoin wallet app on the App Store (iOS). Breadwallet was the first bitcoin wallet available on the App Store (iOS) and is now also available on Google Play. In September, 2017 the company renamed themselves from Breadwallet to Bread because they are adding more financial services and support for more crypto assets and are expanding the app's scope to go beyond just a bitcoin wallet.
From 2012-2013, Aaron worked as a Senior iOS Consultant at Banjo, an app that allows users to experience breaking news and live events by amalgamating social media posts from the location of the event. [1]
In 2011, Aaron Voisine co-founded the video sharing app Lightt.
Aaron worked as the Design and Development lead for the Lightt's iOS strategy before leaving the company in 2012.
From 2010-2011 Aaron worked as an iOS development lead for the enterprise social networking service Yammer. [1]
