Feis had been a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, graduating in the Class of 1999. [undefined]
Coach Aaron Feis a Douglas Alumni class of 1999 has spent his entire career at Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
As a player, Coach Feis played Center for the Eagles from 1995 – 1998.
After graduating in 1999, he decided to become a coach at his high school, returning to Douglas in 2002.
He spent 8 years as the Head Coach of Junior Varsity, As Junior Varsity Coach Feis delivered the only loss to St. Thomas, breaking their 4 year winning streak.
These days Coach Feis still instills his knowledge to both Junior Varsity and Varsity linemen.
In addition, Coach Feis makes sure football operations runs smooth and is the College Recruiting Coordinator.
Coach Feis resides in Coral Springs with his wife Melissa and their daughter Arielle.

On February 14, 2017, during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting, witnesses stated that he jumped in front of the shooter, Nikolaus Cruz, to help protect students. [1]
