Aaron David Robinson was a United States Army soldier from Calumet City, Illinois. U.S. Army Specialist Robinson was the main suspect in the disappearance of Vanessa Guillen.

Death of Vanessa Guillen

On the early morning of Wednesday July 1, 2020, Robinson committed suicide by shooting himself in the shot in the 4700 block of East Rancier Avenue as authorities approached him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. [1]

Authorities later arrested the estranged wife of a former Fort Hood soldier, Robinson’s girlfriend, Cecily Aguilar.

Agular remained in the Bell County, Texas charged with tampering with evidence with intent to impair a human corpse.
