The Wilmas 13 also known as the Wilmas Gang or the Wilmington Gang, is a predominantly but not exclusively a Mexican American street gang located in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The Wilmas consists of 3 sub-sets known as the East Side Wilmas, the West Side Wilmas and the North Side Wilmas.
The Wilmas are the most notorious and oldest Latino gang in Wilmington, Los Angeles. This gang has been around long before the creation of the Mexican Mafia, with their history dating back to the 1950s

East Side Wilmas
The East Side Wilmas, originated on the East Side of Wilmington, Los Angeles around L Street and Hyatt Avenue. Avalon Boulevard, acts as their borderline, between them and the West Side Wilmas. The East Side Wilmas have approximately 650 active gang members. The East Side Wilmas are known to sport the color red as their primary color and consists of several cliques that makes up their whole turf such as:
Ghost Town Locos, Hyatt Street Locos, Mahar Locos, Insane Mexican Gang, and the L-Street Maniacs.
West Side Wilmas
The West Side Wilmas originated on the West Side of Wilmington, Los Angeles and are ethnically mixed consisting of African Americans and Caucasians but the gang remains predominantly Mexican American. The West Side Wilmas are West of Avalon Boulevard, Pacific Coast Highway and Anaheim Boulevard. They are known to sport the color blue as their primary color and consists of several cliques such as:
Old C-Street Locos, Dana Locos, and the Willhall Park Locos.
North Side Wilmas
The North Side Wilmas, were established on the North Side of Wilmington, Los Angeles, parts of their neighborhood extends into Carson. The North Side Wilmas are small compared to the other 2 sub-sets, the East Side Wilmas and the West Side Wilmas. The North Side Wilmas are known to sport the color black as their primary color and they are allies of the Reality Street Locos 13 and remained allies with the West Side Wilmas.

The Wilma street gangs, have been making headlines in the news, since the 1950s.
In 1988, Blanco, whom police describe as being affiliated with the East Side Wilmas.
Blanco stopped at the intersection of D-Street and Wilmington Boulevard, this jurisdiction is represented by the West Side Wilmas.
Blanco, was gunned down at the intersection by a group of kids who were affiliated with the West Side Wilmas.
East Side Wilmas Vs West Side Wilmas
The 3 Wilma gangs, East Side, West Side, and North Side Wilmas shared a close alliance.
Until 1986, when the East Side Wilmas and West Side Wilmas became engaged in a bitter rivalry after confutation over a female, which left several Latino males dead.
In 2000, there were a total of 45 murders in Wilmington, Los Angeles, 39 of the murders were gang-related. However the West Side Wilmas and the North Side Wilmas remained allies.

Their arch rival are the Harbor City Boys 13, these 2 gangs were feuding since 1990 and caused a lot of bloodshed between both sides, they also feud with other Latino gangs such as the Rancho San Pedro Gang and the Eastside Torrance. They also feud with African American street gangs such as the Harbor City Crips, the Dodge City Crips, East Side Pain Bloods, and the Waterfront Piru.
