Willow Rose (born September 5, 1976) is a journalist and author of contemporary horror, mystery, supernatural fiction, suspense and fantasy. Rose has published 44 novels, including five in Danish under the name Therese Philipsen. Many of her stories are set in Denmark, where she grew up and in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where she lives now. Her books have been translated into several languages. She is perhaps best known for her popular series of novels, The Jack Ryder-series, revolving around the life of the homicide detective, surfer and devoted father Jack Ryder, that Kirkus-reviews called a charming protagonist surrounded by a winsome family. The element of excruciating horror in her books has earned her the nickname The Queen of Scream.
