Wendy Osefo (born May 21, 1984) is a Nigerian-American television personality and progressive political commentator.
She has been interviewed by and provided commentary for CNN, ABC, Fox News, Fox Business, BBC, HLN, Russian TV, The Washington Post, In Touch Weekly, Business Insider, One America News Network, and TV One to name a few. Education
Wendy holds a B.A. in political science from Temple University, an M.A. in Government from The Johns Hopkins University, and an M.Sc. in Public Affairs from Rutgers University. [13] [14]
Recognition
In 2016, Dr. Osefo became the first black woman to earn a Ph.D. in Public Affairs-Community Development from Rutgers University.
In 2017, Osefo was named one of 12 Pan African Women to Watch by Face2Face Africa.
The same year she received the Distinguished Recent Alumni Award from The Johns Hopkins University.
She is also the recipient of the Diversity Recognition Award.
Osefo was named in the 2017 40 Under 40 class by the Baltimore Business Journal.

Personal Life
In August 2011, Osefo married Edward Osefo; the couple got married on August 20, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland. [27] [undefined] [undefined] She gave birth to a baby boy in April 2013. The couple welcomed their second son in March 2015. Osefo credits her faith and family for her success. She is a self-described pescritarian who often falls off the wagon every few months.
