Unicole Unicron
Unicole Unicron (born August 16) is an American Artist, Musician, Video Director and Cult Leader. She is primarily known as the founder and leader of UNICULT which is a "collaborative effort dedicated to the promotion of joy".
Born in Longmont Colorado, she earned a reputation in the mainstream media upon moving to Washington, Seattle in 2015 and having her story covered by MTV's "True Life: I'm Starting A Religion" in which it was revealed that she is the founder of a rapidly-growing underground cult.
Not long after the show was aired, her larger-than-life persona, controversial music videos, and futuristic ideas, began to gather worldwide attention.
In 2016 it was revealed in a Motherboard Vice article that she is also a practitioner of Witchcraft and leader of a feminist movement called 3V3 consisting of women and non-binary witches who are "working at the intersection of magic and technology" and who share the common goal of affecting "matriarchal change in the digital realm".
Unicole communicates with members of the UNICULT via snail mail, as well as all available online platforms. She hosts popular livestream shows on weekdays, produces regular video content and spiritual teachings on YouTube, and hosts an online church service for her followers on Sundays in which her viewers are engaged by a wide variety of sermons.
Early Life and Education
Unicron was raised in Longmont, Colorado. She attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and studied English, Creative Writing, Poetry, Apparel Merchandising, Fiber Art, and Business.
Prior to becoming a full-time religious leader Unicole worked for several years as a Telecommunications Professional, both for CenturyLink as a Senior Architect and then later at IBM as a Circuit Provisioning Specialist She has also worked teaching English classes at Institute of Business and Medical Careers.
Her technical and creative writing has been published in magazines, instruction manuals, blogs, zines, and literary journals.
Suicide Attempt
Prior to Unicole developing her cult she made a very serious suicide attempt in which her life was moments away from being lost, as described in "THE BIRTH OF UNICULT" video where she explains "I tried to kill myself and I took all the pharmaceuticals that the most trusted people in our society said I should be taking - I took them all at once - then I drove up to the top of a mountain and tried to get to a big body of water but I was already too messed up to get to the body of water at this point and I fell from a twenty foot cliff."
Her father was miraculously guided to where she had fallen and found her body when she was about "two hours away from death due to her failing liver and kidneys."
After she had been saved and went through the lengthy process of learning to cope with life again, Unicole was able to successfully develop her own framework and psychological path to joy which she soon integrated into the worldwide teachings of what has now become the UNICULT. Her teachings and experiences continue to reach out to people all across the world who are dealing with similar difficulties in life.
Career
From very early roots in music but with initial resource limitations, Unicole created her first album under the title of exclusively on a mobile phone.
The music has achieved a cult status of sorts due to its creative quality and originality in content. Her musical influences include Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and Madonna. She has often associated her music and art to a new form of "positive brainwashing" which is specifically designed to alleviate the listener from the burdens of life. After her first album she continued with the use of better technology to expand into new musical territories in 2015 through her album which also featured collaborations with her partner who is the other half of their music project and live band:.
More recently she has been experimenting in collaboration with Jeremy Garner to incorporate technologies of binaural beats, 3D ASMR recordings and deep subliminal programming techniques. Unicole combines sounds with powerful visuals in a revolutionary and positive way in order to deeply affect and benefit the end user.
While working on music, Unicole also directs and produces original music videos to complement the material.
These music videos have ranged from "promoting spiritual and feminist ideals" to "interrogating sacredness while wearing giant feathered angel wings and an emoji dress" as journalist Leigh Alexander from Vice Magazine described. Unicole often pushes the boundaries of expectation and takes her videos into new territories where they have not yet been explored.
On top of these music videos she also controversially created and released a self-made solo pornographic cult film in 2016 called "" which is only accessible on VHS.
As well as consistently creating, Unicole is a renowned author, having self-published alongside a collection of original fairytales titled: which have become popularized for their highly unpredictable nature.
Unicole broadcasts her own live Periscope shows almost every day of the week to thousands of people who regularly tune in to experience four main segments of "How Do You Feel?", "Dream Time", "News Time", and "Advice Time" through which she encourages and achieves high participation from viewers.
She is also a well established painter with some of her more personally commissioned works selling for thousands of dollars a year as the demand is made even higher due to her respected status as "cult leader". As well as painting, writing, and creating countless songs and videos, Unicole runs her own where people are able to purchase crystals, wands, self made T-shirts, candles, and other magical items.
