Tom Segura (born April 16, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and podcaster. Segura co-hosts Your Mom's House podcast. He lives with his family in Los Angeles, California.

Early life

Segura was born on April 16, 1979,[1] in Cincinnati, Ohio.[2] His mother is Peruvian.[3] He has two sisters.[4] When he was 18, Segura overdosed on GHB and fell into a short coma.[5]

Career

Segura has been performing as a comedian since shortly after he graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Segura has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival,[6] The Comedy Festival, the Global Comedy Festival in Vancouver, Just For Laughs Comedy Festival,[7] and the South Beach Comedy Festival.[8][9] Segura was also a San Francisco regional finalist on Last Comic Standing 2. Segura is a member of the Deathsquad Network of standup comedians.[10] In 2018, Tom and his wife, Christina Pazsitzky, landed a TV deal with CBS, who gave a pilot production commitment for their show "The Little Things".[11]

Radio

Segura makes regular appearances on Bennington Show,[12] The Bob and Tom Show[13] and The Ron and Fez Show.[14]

Podcast

Segura and his wife Christina Pazsitzky created and host the podcast Your Mom's House.[15]

Segura also makes regular appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience[16] and WTF with Marc Maron.[12]

Personal life

Segura speaks Spanish fluently.[3] He has lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Vero Beach, Florida.[17]

Segura married fellow comedian Christina Pazsitzky in November 2008. They have two sons, Ellis (born 2016) and Julian (born 2018),[18] and live in Los Angeles, California.[19][20]
