Career
Connell obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University [15] and earned a postgraduate degree in journalism from RMIT University in 2009. [12]
Connell joined Sky News in 2009, serving as a liaison producer and business reporter.
[15] In 2011, Connell served as a reporter based in Brisbane, which included covering the 2012 Queensland state election. [2] [4] The following year he relocated to Canberra as a Federal political reporter and member of the Canberra Press Gallery. [6]
Connell is also a substitute anchor for numerous Sky News programs presented from Canberra, including the now defunct *Saturday Agenda *, [8] *The Latest with Laura Jayes * [9] and *First Edition *.
