The Happy Pear

The Happy Pear

The Happy Pear started as fruit and vegetable shop in 2004 when brothers David and Stephen Flynn bought a local greengrocer in Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland. The business now includes a family-run natural food store that offers local, organic and seasonal produce; two wholefood cafés, an evening restaurant in Greystones, and a superfood sprout farm in Kilcoole.

David and Stephen are both identical twins and vegans; an ethos which forms the basis of The Happy Pear's food Production, though the cafe does sell some food with dairy ingredients.

The Happy Pear has its own-label food production and distribution business. The Flynns are also authors of bestselling cookbooks and part of Jamie Oliver's Food Tube family. They are beginning to build their profile through the media in the UK.
