Syed Riaz Hussain Shah is a Pakistani Islamic scholar of the Sufi school. He Secretary General (مرکزی ناظم اعلٰی) of the Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan in Pakistan and Internationally ^{[7] [5]} and head of the Academy of Islamic & Modern Studies AIMS in Islamabad.He is also Director of ا ^[6] situated in Rawalpindi and has branches in different cities of the country.

Syed Riaz Hussain Shah is the author of several books and booklets regarding the Islamic faith and education and publisher of the monthly magazine Daleel e Rah.

He writes and speaks internationally about the peaceful message of Islam.

He is one of the great Islamic scholars who have the power of knowledge and wisdom with a huge number of brilliant followers in all fields of life to compete the challenges of modern era.

He has translated the Holy Quran in Urdu and Hindko languages.

He is getting the Holy Quran translated in English.

He is writing Tafseer too.

Few volumes of his Tafseer have been printed, which are widely appreciated.

He has written several other books, including a dictionary and a book on Sufism.

He has, for the first time, built very big Sunni Secretariat, near Lahore.

He is excellent orator.

He has large following with in Pakistan and abroad.

I know him for the last about 35 years and Alhamdolillah I have always found him following Sunnah.

He has good command on international affairs.

All elders like Pir Husseen ud Din shah, Syed Mazhar Saeed Kazami, Pir SB golara sharif and others love him.

And all youngers and age fellows like Syed Hamid Saeed shah Kazami, Haji Hanif Tayyab, Mufti Muhammad Iqbal Chishti, Mufti Hanief Qureshi, Noor ul Haq Qadri and several others.

He has trained several youngsters like Dr. Zafar Iqbal Noori, Nawaz kharal, Dr. Mian Azher Naeem and several others.

Me is also backbencher amoung his students.

He is inspired from all big Muslim personalities.

However, from the personalities of recent past, he is inspired from Pir Meher Ali Shah Sb, Ahla Hazarat Ahmed Raza Khan and Syed Ahmed Saeed Kazami.

Allama Noor Ahmed Bandialvi, Mufti liaqat Ali and Allama Hafiz Muhammad Akbar are his Students.

He is known, in his big circle, as " Shah G" especially in Pindi, Lahore, Fisalabad and Karachi.
